Greenwashing vs. Reality

As sustainability becomes a buzzword, it is easy to get lost in the jargon. Here is what the terms actually mean for your packaging.

Recyclable

Means the material can be processed and reused to make new products. Kraft paper is 100% recyclable. In fact, it can be recycled up to 7 times before the fibers become too short.

Biodegradable

Means the material will break down naturally over time. Plastic takes 400 years; Paper takes a few weeks. However, 'biodegradable' plastics often leave behind microplastics.

Compostable

This is the gold standard. It means the material breaks down into non-toxic organic matter (soil) under specific conditions. Our unlaminated kraft bags are fully compostable, returning to the earth without a trace.

Which Should You Choose?

For most Indian businesses, Recyclable and Compostable Kraft Paper is the most practical and impactful choice. It supports the circular economy and fits existing waste management systems perfectly.
